Barcelona hosts Real Sociedad at the Camp Nou in a match from the Spanish La Liga.
This is going to be a serious test for the Catalan giants. Let’s preview it in today’s free
soccer betting tips.
On Sunday Barcelona gave a lot ot effort in order to win against Levante at home. The
Catalans had to wait until 76th minute to score a winning goal. The club’s captain Lionel
Messi executed an assist from Frenkie de Jong and put the ball behind Aitor Fernandez’
back. The truth is Barca played well, but they didn’t have enough luck to score more goals.
Against Levante Ronald Koeman took some interesting decisions. He put the striker Martin
Braithwaite on the left win while Lionel Messi once again functioned as a “false nine”.
Meanwhile Miralem Pjanic once again started from the bench and didn’t play a single
minute for Barca.
Koeman still can’t use Gerard Pique, Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele which is cutting
his options in defense and attack. Barca are currently 8th in the standings with 17 points,
but 9 points behind the leader Real Sociedad – their next opponent.
Real Sociedad are leading the La Liga table with 26 points and a record of 7 wins, 5 draws
and 1 loss. La Real are enjoying a terrific season so far. Even if they don’t win the title,
Sociedad have a realistic chance to fight for a place in Top 4 and a return to the
Champions League.
In their last game Real Sociedad made a third consecutive draw in the league. The
Basques hosted Eibar and made a 1-1 draw at the Reale Arena. It was dissapointing, yes.
Barrenetxea opened the score for La Real, but Sergi Enrich equalised for the visitors.
That’s our free soccer betting tips for the La Liga fixture between Barcelona and Real
Sociedad at the Camp Nou. This is going to be a good one, be sure about that.
